El próximo 4 de diciembre, Shawn Mendes pondrá a la venta su esperado nuevo álbum de estudio, cuyo título confirmado es ‘Wonder‘.
El disco se ha grabado durante el último año en una serie de sesiones de grabación en Rhinebeck, NY y Big Sur, California. Esto es lo que ha comentado el artista: «¡Os he echado tanto de menos! Sé que ha sido un año muy aterrador para todos, así que os estoy enviando muchísimo amor a todos. Escribí un álbum. Se llama «Wonder«. Realmente siento como si un pedazo de mí ha sido escrito en papel y grabado en la canción. Traté de ser tan real y honesto como siempre lo he sido. Es un mundo y un viaje, un sueño y un álbum que he querido hacer durante mucho tiempo. Me encanta. Gracias por estar a mi lado durante tantos años. Os quiero tanto a todos».
Tras el estreno del tema que da título al disco, el segundo single oficial es la canción ‘Monster‘ a dúo con Justin Bieber. Las dos estrellas canadienses se unen en un tema autobiográfico producido por Frank Dukes, Matthew Tavares y Kaan Gunesberk y compuesto por Adam King Feeney, Ashton Simmonds, Mustafa Ahmed y los dos cantantes.
El tema ‘Monster’ viene acompañado de un videoclip dirigido por Colin Tilley en el que los dos artistas dejan atrás sus antiguas diferencias y se unen para exponer sus miedos e inseguridades.
