El pasado lunes 21 de diciembre, Ed Sheeran sorprendía a sus seguidores con el estreno de un nuevo tema que llegaba año y medio después de su último trabajo discográfico, el álbum colaborativo ‘No. 6 Collaborations Project’.
‘Afterglow‘ es el título de este nuevo tema que no se edita como primer anticipo de su próximo disco, sino que se trata de un simple lanzamiento independiente. Así lo ha escrito el artista: «Es una canción que compuse el año pasado y que he querido lanzarla para vosotros. No es el primer single de mi próximo álbum, es simplemente una canción que me encanta, y espero que os guste también».
La portada de ‘Afterglow‘ se basa en un lienzo multicolor creado por el propio artista. El single fue compuesto por Sheeran junto a David Hodges y Fred Gibson y co-producido también por el artista junto a FRED y Parisi.
