Unos meses después del estreno del tema ‘My future‘, Billie Eilish está de regreso con un nuevo single titulado ‘Therefore I Am’ que ya está disponible en todas las plataformas digitales y servicios de streaming.
La cantante ha asegurado recientemente sentirse muy emocionada sobre este nuevo sencillo que ha compuesto y producido junto a su hermano Finneas. La artista dedica esta canción a esas personas que siempre están opinando sobre su cuerpo, sus estilismos o su música, pidiéndoles que no se tomen tantas confianzas. En parte de la letra, Billie comenta: «Saca mi bonito nombre de tu boca, no somos iguales con o sin, no hables de mí como si supieras cómo me siento».
El tema ‘Therefore I Am‘ se da a conocer con un videoclip de estética casera en el que la artista vive una situación que posiblemente han soñado miles de adolescentes (y más de un adulto): quedarse a solas en un centro comercial vacío. El vídeo se rodó en el centro comercial Glendale Galleria de California bajo la dirección de la propia Billie Eilish.
