Desde el pasado viernes 10 de julio, está disponible en todas las plataformas digitales el nuevo single oficial de Becky G, que se edita a través de su sello Kemosabe Records/RCA Records.
La canción ha sido producida por el reconocido productor jamaicano Di Genius (Drake, Shakira, John Legend) y escrita por la propia Becky junto a Di Genius, Elena Rose, Edgar Barrera, Fresh, Maurice “Verse” Simmonds, Janée “Jin Jin” Bennett y Jenni Rivera.
El tema está inspirado por el éxito de Jenni Rivera “La Gran Señora”, una canción divertida sobre el empoderamiento femenino con una narrativa que muestra las idas y vueltas de una pareja que afronta las subidas y bajadas de una relación. Becky G comenta sobre la canción, “Siempre me ha gustado el enfoque desde el que Jenni Rivera canta en su hit “La Gran Señora” y me perece que era algo muy transgresor en su tiempo. Es una perspectiva única que no suele ser compartida en las canciones asi que me pareció que sería realmente genial traer ese beat y esa vision al 2020 con my propio estilo Spanglish”
El video oficial de esta canción se grabó en casa de la cantante y su pareja, el jugador de fútbol de los L.A. Galaxy Sebastian Lletgel, y está basado en el periodo infinito de convivencia durante el confinamiento. La dirección creativa ha sido obra de Pedro Paulo Araujo, responsable tambien de todos los visuales del album “Mala Santa”. Así lo describe la artista: “El video es un momento verdadero que ha quedado grabado para siempre. Ésta pandemia es algo que Sebastian & yo no olvidaremos. Compartir esos momentos tan privados y nuestro lado tan loco y competitivo que la gente normalmente no puede ver ha sido algo muy divertido. Nunca sentimos que estuviesemos grabando un videoclip simplemente nos limitamos a ser nosotros mismos”.
