Doja Cat tenía ya totalmente listo un nuevo single que esperaba estrenar de forma inminente como primer adelanto de su próximo trabajo discográfico.
Sin embargo, un challenge viral en TikTok ha provocado el retraso de ese lanzamiento debido al inesperado éxito del tema ‘Streets‘ (incluido en el álbum de 2019 ‘Hot Pink‘). El denominado ‘Silouette Challenge‘ se basa en un reto sensual que combina el clásico de Paul Anka ‘Put Your Head On My Shoulders‘ con el citado tema de Doja Cat.
En homenaje a ese challenge que sigue triunfando en la conocida red social, la artista estrena ahora un destacado videoclip que ha sido dirigido por Christian Breslauer (Roddy Ricch, Tory Lanez) y está protagonizado por el actor y modelo Kofi Siriboe (Queen Sugar, Girls Trip).
De hecho, para la versión que acompaña este videoclip, se ha sustituido la intro inicial basada en un sampler de ‘Streets Is Callin’ de B2K por el tema de Paul Anka que aparece en el reto de TikTok.
