Coincidiendo con la fecha en la que tenía previsto celebrarse el Festival de Eurovisión 2020, el cantante neerlandés Duncan Laurence ha publicado en todas las plataformas digitales su primer EP, titulado ‘Worlds On Fire’.
El ganador de la última edición de Eurovisión regresa con un mini álbum formado por cinco canciones, incluyendo la canción ganadora ‘Arcade‘ y su último sencillo ‘Love Don’t Hate It’. Este es el contenido del EP ‘Worlds On Fire’:

El single de presentación del mini álbum es ‘Someone Else’, una canción que el propio artista describe así: «Se refiere a la sensación que puedes tener cuando estás solo y tu cabeza empieza a dar vueltas y a repetir los recuerdos de una relación anterior. La montaña rusa emocional de pensar constantemente en esa persona que amaste tan profundamente pero con la que ya no puedes estar. Creo que es un sentimiento por el que mucha gente pasa ahora mismo. Donde normalmente encuentras consuelo y distracción en tu vida diaria, estos días te enfrentas casi cada minuto con esos pensamientos: como romper con un ser querido y volverte loco con el pensamiento de que tal vez ya han pasado a otra persona…»
Esta canción se grabó en Los Angeles junto a un equipo de compositores y productores formado por Brett “Leland” McLaughlin (Troye Sivan, Selena Gomez) y Bram Inscore (Icona Pop, Mayer Hawthorne). Puedes ver su lyric video promocional a continuación:
