El cantante y compositor británico Liam Payne estrenó el pasado viernes 1 de marzo un nuevo tema, titulado ‘Teardrops‘, que se edita como primer adelanto de su segundo álbum de estudio en solitario.
‘Teardrops‘ es lo primero que publica el ex componente de One Direction desde el lanzamiento de su primer disco ‘LP1’ a finales de 2019. Será la primera de las canciones que el cantante editará este año como parte de la promoción de su segundo disco, cuyo lanzamiento se espera para este verano.
Co-escrita por Liam Payne, el cantante y miembro de *NSYNC JC Chasez y el productor Jamie Scott (Story of My Life, Drag Me Down, Night Changes), la canción se describe oficialmente como un himno instantáneo que hace un guiño al pop rítmico de finales de los 90 y principios de los 2.000. Esto es lo que ha comentado el artista: «Teardrops trata sobre la vulnerabilidad del desamor y el reto que supone superar esos momentos. Este tema marca el inicio de un nuevo comienzo, hay mucho más por venir en 2024 «.
