El próximo viernes 20 de agosto, la cantante y compositora neozelandesa Lorde publicará su nuevo trabajo discográfico, una producción titulada ‘Solar Power‘ que se editará cuatro años después de su anterior producción (‘Melodrama‘).
El álbum estará formado por doce canciones originales compuestas y grabadas durante los últimos dos años. La artista describe este tercer disco como «una celebración del mundo natural, un intento de inmortalizar los sentimientos profundos y trascedentes que pruebo al aire libre. En momentos de desamor, duelo, profundo amor o confusión, busco las respuestas en la naturaleza. He aprendido a respirar y a conectarme. Esto es lo que ha salido.’.
Como apoyo al mundo natural la artista ha decidido que el álbum se publique en un formato sin CD llamado Music Box eco-consciente que incluirá contenido visual extra, notas escritas a mano, fotos exclusivas y una tarjeta de descarga del álbum junto a sorpresas especiales.
Después de estrenar el tema que da título al disco y la pista ‘Stoned at the Nail Salon‘, Lorde presenta ahora la canción ‘Mood Ring‘ como nuevo single oficial del álbum. Producida junto a Jack Antonoff, esta canción se da a conocer con un destacado videoclip dirigido por la propia Lorde junto a Joel Kefali.
