Después de varios años de retraso, Normani ha anunciado que el próximo 14 de junio se pondrá a la venta por fin su primer álbum en solitario, titulado ‘DOPAMINE’.
Según la nota de prensa de Sony Music, el disco representa una temporada de liberación y libertad, celebrando su viaje hasta este momento crucial. El álbum se presenta con una llamativa portada en la que Normani aparece sobre un cohete negro bajo la lente del conocido fotógrafo Hugo Comte.
Sobre la expectación acerca de su próximo lanzamiento, esto es lo que ha comentado la artista en sus redes: «Sólo quería deciros que estoy abrumada por el amor y el apoyo que me habéis mostrado estos últimos días. No puedo creer que por fin esté sucediendo y pueda compartir lo que he hecho literalmente. Se avecinan muchas cosas. Os quiero mucho, gracias por todo».
Como primer adelanto promocional del disco, la cantante ha publicado en todas las plataformas de streaming el tema ‘1:59‘, que cuenta con la colaboración de Gunna,
