De un día para otro, los medios musicales internacionales no paran de hablar de Olivia Rodrigo, una de las protagonistas de la nueva versión de ‘High School Musical’ para Disney+ y que esta semana es noticia por el lanzamiento de su primer single.
‘Drivers License’ es el título del tema con el que la cantante y actriz debuta en el panorama musical, una canción que cuenta la historia de desamor de Olivia con Joshua Bassett, compañero de serie y actual pareja de la también actriz Sabrina Carpenter.
Compuesto por la propia Olivia junto al productor Daniel Nigro, ‘drivers license‘ ha arrancado con un enorme éxito en todas las plataformas digitales y servicios de streaming, superando en YouTube los 15 millones de reproducciones tres días después del estreno de su correspondiente videoclip oficial.
Además, este pasado lunes el tema se convirtió en la canción más reproducida en Spotify globalmente en un mismo día con unos 11,5 millones de streams, por lo que su próximo número 1 en las listas de singles americana y británica podría estar más que asegurado.
