Después de haber triunfado durante los últimos meses con el single ‘drivers license‘, la cantante y actriz estadounidense Olivia Rodrigo ha anunciado que el próximo 21 de mayo se pondrá a la venta su primer trabajo discográfico a través de Geffen Records.
De este disco aún no conocemos su título ni contenido, pero ya es uno de los lanzamientos más esperados de los próximos meses tras el éxito mundial del tema ‘drivers license’, que actualmente supera los 600 millones de streams en Spotify y los 170 millones de visualizaciones en YouTube.
El segundo single oficial del disco es el tema ‘deja vu‘, una canción de desamor compuesta por la cantante junto a Dan Nigro (Conan Gray, Carly Rae Jepsen, Lewis Capaldi), que mantiene tanto el sonido como la temática del primer gran éxito de Olivia.
«El concepto de deja vu siempre me ha fascinado y pensé que sería genial usarlo en una canción sobre los sentimientos complejos después de que termina una relación», comenta la cantante. «»Comencé a escribir y grabar ‘deja vu’ el otoño pasado y me divertí mucho creando las diferentes melodías y texturas sonoras que escuchas en todo momento». El single viene acompañado de un videoclip dirigido por Allie Avital y coprotagonizado por Talia Ryder.
